I've been reading on various other blogs recently about these too cool craft books from Japan, with patterns for making softies and such. I did a quick search on eBay and found a treasure trove of inspiration and ideas. I even ordered this particular book for myself! I couldn't resist it, the characters are so cute and look easy enough to whip out in between other projects. I even used Buy It Now, which I hardly ever do!
My son speaks (well, sort of speaks) Japanese so I had him translate the title for me - it says Mascot Doll. I think that's so funny.
I am continually impressed with the creativity that comes from Japan. Oh, and I also saw a book of Hello Kitty projects that I almost bought as well. Too cute! So now I will be watching for the postman with excitement to get my little hands on my new book. All this felt that I've accumulated might actually be put to use! I have a stack of wool felt I bought at Joann's a few weeks ago all in a neat stack on my sewing table. I may have even heard it whisper my name from time to time! Oh dear...
