I've gotten some entries for the dress Zoe contest and they are so creative! I am very impressed! I've decided to give everyone the whole week to send me something, so the deadline will be Saturday, November 5 at midnight my time (Central Time Zone). The main prize will be a real felt Zoe and three of her outfits: the witch, the devil and the black cat, all made from felt. I've been working on them all weekend, Zoe insisted she be realized in felt. As we speak I am surrounded by bits of felt and everything is covered in felt fuzz, including my keyboard.
Zoe is flat like a paper doll, but since her clothes are made of felt, the pieces "cling" to Zoe, even if you hold her at an angle. She's so cute!
I hate to part with her, but I need to make the prize something special because the entries are so creative! I'm also awarding two honorable mentions, and those winners will each get a felt scotty dog. I'll hold off posting the entries until I get all of them, so as not to give anything away. So get busy and dress a silly Zoe, then send me a screen shot!
Good luck!
Jenny

Now you've done it! My husband just ran in to find out why I'm squeeling with delight from our bedroom. Zoe looks fab in felt.
That brings back wonderful childhood memories of felt boards. Our elementary school was fond of them for story time in the library. :)

I know this post is really, really old, but I just found it and have to ask- is this as simple as it looks? just cutting her parts from felt and stitching them together?
I am thinking this would be a fabulous gift for a little girl... did you sew the bits of the outfit together, or use glue of some kind?
thanks! :)
