This and that and a game of tag
I hope you all had a delightful time this holiday season! Ours was much quieter than expected, as it turned out. We didn't have the family over, which truthfully was a big relief, but we met for brunch and had a fantastic time, then had a lovely visit with my mum. Sometimes you have to opt for low key.
A few things... I am so excited to be participating in Club Little House! Amy made us the cutest little badge. I am gleefully anticipating more instructions, so I can start making my contributions to the swap.
And on the dollhouse front, the good news is that although most of the bunnies moved on following Easter, we invited a few of them to stay on! So the occupants are moving in furniture and spiffing up the place. Hopefully soon I will have some pics to show you of their progress (Myron says he has dibs on the attic bedroom).
Ro and I are heading to DC on Thursday for a quick little getaway. I'm looking forward to seeing Katy and Amy! So.. no more posts until probably Monday or Tuesday.
Also... Yvonne tagged me, so here are my answers:
1. Five minutes to yourself: how would you spend them, ideally? Interestingly, I've recently started meditating again. I'd forgotten how refreshed I feel after just five minutes of sitting and breathing.
2. Five bucks to spend right now: how would you spend it? I'd head to Half Price Books to scrounge the decorating section, but probably end up spending it in the Black Forest Bakery.
3. Five items in your house you could part with, right now, that you hadn't thought of already? Five... hmmm... the broken wicker chair, the broken birdseye maple chair, the broken savrolina chair, the broken red garden chair, and my broken desk chair.
4. Five items you absolutely, positively could never part with in your house? My little Victorian wicker chair, the rustic pine cupboard that Ro found, my grandma's Martha Washington sewing table, the pine table I bought at Camden Passage, and the quilt my great-grandmother made.
5. Five words you love? Scrumptious, lavender, smidgen, burble and hobgoblin. Haha!
Lets' see, I think I'll tag Katy, Amy, Alicia, Vicki, and Natascha!
Cheers,
Jenny

I love your choice of words...they all have whimsy (one of my favorite concepts and one of my favorite words...).

Jenny, I've been a fan of your fun blog for a while. I did your meme today because I thought it was a nice one - and it's a lot easier for someone else to think of my blog topic for me sometimes!
Anyway, I enjoy your blog and your very cute projects!
