thanks for sharing these photos. sounds like a fun way to spend the day

I love the bow tie quilt, it has so much movement in it. I have never seen this block with the little red triangles added to the corners. Thanks for sharing.

That bow tie quilt is amazing. I love quilt shows too, the variety alone is worth it.

I loved that quilt, too! Great colors that really pop with that crisp white! There was lots of eye candy and inspiration! Just not enough time to take it all in. Have fun with your purchases!

The photos are fabulous and the red/white doll quilt you're making is gorgeous.

Love that quilt! I love flour sack prints. Dose that ahem.. wee doll quilt happen to be for a wonderful blogger out there? There seems to be more and more doll quilts popping up on some of my most read blogs.

what yummy colors! I had no idea you were in the dallas area. I'm in houston and really wanted to attend the show, but i'll be there in two weeks, and hated to make the four hour trip twice this month. Ugh, now i'm sorry i missed it! Rosemary

What a lovely blog
Glad I camr for a visit!!!

WOW!! What a beautiful quilt! Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.

I know the name of this quilt pattern is called Confetti... but it really should have been named after you Jenny! It's SOOOOO you. Or rather... SEW you! (ok, that was lame... I really do need a nap). What a stunning use of color and 30's.

Thanks for sharing your highlights of the show (and your great photography as well)!

Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing. I just love this pattern. It is a joy to see what you are posting for all of us to see.

WOW! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

That quilt is so beautiful, and so interesting. It looks totally different up close than it does from far away - taking in the whole design. Thanks for sharing!

And I love your button scores, of course!

I have been admiring your blog for a while now and it is definitely one of my favorites. I love the colors and the freshness of it and you have inspired me more than once. Thank you! I am making my first quilt and it has been a lot of fun. I made your little envelopes at Christmas as a gift for my sister. I only made 12 and made them big enough to hold gift cards and earrings and things, but it was a really fun gift. I had as much fun shopping for it as she had opening it. Again, thanks for all the inspiration.

That bow tie quilt is just stunning! I would love to be able to make something so beautiful!
God bless.

Whoa! That quilt is incredible! Thanks for sharing photos. And I'm loving the red/white combo you are working on. My next quilt is going to be red & white and seeing yours has me itching to start on it!

i am in love with those fabrics! you said you had some in your stash... where did you find them???

That is really one gorgeous quilt. I, too, am a total sucker for the 30's fabric, I have quite a selection of it myself, and am adding all the time. I am doing a scrappy 30's and vintage feedsack Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt, so one can never have too much of it!

Great colors in the bow-tie quilt. Thanks for sharing! Everyone seems to be making these adorable doll quilts now. I like it!

Awwww.... you shudda snatched up that dick and jane quilt.... funky or not! ;o)

i LOVE your site! I'm a first time caller! (i mean, visitor).

what an incredible quilt!

Jenny! What a most wonderful blog. I am so happy, here, the colors and your art, the quilts, it is a really special place that I will visit often.

Thanks so much for sharing your talent and enthusiasm with all of us.

And it's red, really, it doesn't get any better than being here. :)

Hello. I came across your blog on Morgan Moore's "One More Moore" site. I love all of your fun stuff! What part of the Dallas area are you in? My husband, daughter, and I are relocating to Frisco.

Hey, thank you for this wonderful blog. I always feel uplifted, motivated, and inspired. I love how you shared how the quilt show inspired your work. I think as designers we sometimes want to guard how we got our inspiration. Anyhoo, thank you for all the luscious visuals and good words! Very nice.
