The way things are

That kind of sums it up lately. I bought a bunch of these chargers at Ikea at Christmas, and thought up lots of ideas to use them in projects. But... who has time? This is the best I can do, a quick ribbon weave around the edge, then basically dumped the buttons, letters and dominos on there. Thank you, gravity. Oh well, I suppose it's better than nothing...

Remember friendsday? Meet Fred, Hayley and Fifi!

Thought I'd revisit friendsday and highlight some new blogs on the block. This one's a husband and wife in Kent with the most delightful home! The colors are so fresh and happy... very Cath Kidston. That's Fred of Fredsworld pictured above, and his wife, Hayley has her own corner of the blogisphere at Happy Loves Rosie. Total eye candy!

Another new arrival on the scene is Francoise of Chez Fifi. Her house is so delectably shabby chic! Er... I should say tres chic... she's Paris born and raised, and is now living in this darling cottage in Florida.

She's a writer and photostylist for several national magazines, and I've been seeing and loving her work for ages!

I love how many new talented people are joining this crazy online world every day. So many fabulous blogs, there should be about six more hours in the day just for exploring new ones and catching up with long-time faves.
