Faces in places...

Clock

Another photo for the Faces in Places group on Flickr... I came across this snap from 2004 of the back of a vintage clock. I think he looks confused. And oddly, this was from yesterday...

Like every Saturday we had breakfast at Cindi's. But Ro got his bagel to go, so he could enjoy it later. Soon as I saw his plate, he had to wait until I'd snapped a photo of his contented snack. These two join this one from a few months ago.

Today I'm priming and painting a mirror that's been gathering dust in my garage since the last garage sale. My plan is for it to go above the mantle in my bedroom. Its been really dark today, but I'll try to take some photos when it is finished and up.

Anyone else noticed bloglines is going crazy today? I checked earlier and it said I had 1700 new posts to read. Um, I know bloggers like to talk but that is a bit excessive, no?  ;o)

Cheers,

Jenny

LOL that is too cute!

Very cute, I love looking for faces in everyday objects :)

Jenny,
That is just too funny. You made my day with a lot of LOL.

Too cute!

Yes, Bloglines was having a bit of a problem earlier. Evidently it's now fixed.

how cute! I love those!

how cute! I love those!

That's an adorable face!

Such cute photos! Love that. Bloglines was doing the same thing to me this morning. All the blogs that had new post were listed as having anywhere from 100 to 200 new posts. Aack! :)

Found your blog from a link a friend posted for one of your tutes. Great blog! I added you to my Google Reader to follow all of your crafty goodness. :D

Forgot to ask...was wondering if you're still in Texas? I live in Austin, and noticed you went to UT...

my husband has an entire file devoted to "faces" pictures. it's funny when you start to look for them you start to see them everywhere. like when you buy a new car in a you havn't noticed before and you start to see your exact car in the exact color every time you drive anywhere.

That is such a cute little monkey face. I love it. Good luck with the mirror project. I have never painted furniture before... but I have a cabinet that I am considering for a makeover. Big project. We'll see :o) Hope you had a nice weekend!

Ha..love the bagel!! lol

And yeah...bloglines was SCREWY!!

That's my favourite flickr group, and I love your pic!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who sees faces in unexpected places. For the past few days I have been carefully watching the wrinkled little towel man in the top of my linen closet in my bathroom. I can see it from my bed reflected in the vanity mirror. It's kind of creepy but also comforting to see his little wrinkled rolled and folded towel face. LOL.

I see the faces but only because your photoes are so clever!!! How do you see like that?! What if we said give us 3 photoes of horses in unexpected places or 3 jam doughnuts, or 3 stately homes, 3 tiaras .... I could go on and I bet you're going around seeing the world with a completely different gaze to the rest of us! Awesome - in the true sense of the word!!! I'd like to spend a day in your head! t.x

Those photos are just adorable :D you have such an eye!

Enjoyed the smiles. I wish I could redesign the dials on our long-arm quilting machine because it makes a frowning face...and I would much rather smile!

The faces are cute! Love the tablecloth beneath the plate. Have you shown the whole thing before?

Too cute! You had to go and post a link to another great flickr group - where no doubt I'll be trapped for hours!

haha how darn cute is that!!! my son would crack up about the bagel face! ;) xo!

love this post! got me thinking of the 'faces' around my house that i was missing....funny how you can make other shapes out of something totally innocent eh? :)

Amazing!!!

Zepequeña.

Funny photos! I'll be looking at things differently from now on.

These are just wonderful! Ill have to check out that flickR stream.
