Elfies... free to a good home!

Elfies

Wow, y'all are the best. I would never have dreamed there would be such a show of appreciation for my first foray into selling embroidery patterns. I've done my best to keep the shop well stocked, but there have been a few times when not all patterns have been available. My apologies for that, I think I'm on top of it now.

In appreciation, I made up a little embroidery design today of two little elfies (elf? elvses? elvies?) and I'm offering it free, as a thank you to my readers! Just click here to download the pdf, then trace onto your fabric and start stitching. Hope you enjoy it.

And thank you for all the great suggestions for the next set of pretty maids, you've given me lots of good ideas, please keep 'em coming. Oh, and it is probably a bit early yet, but I'd love to see photos of your finished maids (or elf!) projects. There will be a flickr group soon to show off your creations!

Cheers,

Jenny

I am going to try it, so thank you. I have never tried my hand at this, but it will be fun. Thank you for your sweetness!!!

Love them! Thanks!

Jenny--you are just so sweet and giving. I sure do appreciate you. I haven't even opened the pdf for my sweet dolly embroideries...no time to even think about it...but now I can tell myself I'm just waiting for you to design more so I can create a whole quilt of them! :-) Thanks so much for this darling freebie.
jen

these are simply adorable!
thank you so much for sharing.

It's so generous of you to share these with us Jenny! I just saw your embroidery "maids" and they are so sweet.

They remind me of these little collector dolls my grandmother would buy me. Each one was from a different part of the world and dressed in a very elaborate costume. Eventually I thought I was "too old" for them in my teens and gave them to the Salvation Army!!! What a crazy thing to do, I regret it terribly now.

Thank you so much!

I love them! I think I'll need to embellish something for my little girl! I've got a holiday freebie on my website too, check it out!

-I just did some more coasters. I just love those coasters....

Thanks for the freebie Jenny! I'm waiting impatiently for some royalties from a job I did and hope that your store will have the full set of dollies when I finally get paid!

Elvies...Elvis!:-)
Thank you!

Thanks from France. It's so sweet of you to offer this "elfies".
I love your blog;it's a delight to look at.

Oh my goodnes! Thank you so much they are wonderful.

What a lovely thing to wake up to on a Sunday morning! Thanks!

You are great--thank you...the elves are too cute. And now I must move over because my daughter wants to play with your Christmas Zoe. She says Thank You! :-)

These are so cute, they make me want to take up embroidery! :)

Yay! Even cuter than I imagined. :)

Jenny - Thank you. I want you to know how much I enjoy your blog. It makes me smile! Yesterday, two of my girls hung out with me in the dining room as I was unpacking the china. Of course, I love having their help, but am also aware that while dealing with precious sentimental dishes and goodies, quiet and distracted girls can be a very good thing. I brought in the laptop and they spent a couple of hours dressing your softie dolls and decorating the gingerbread house. My goal this weekend was to unpack the dining room, but the girls were having sot much fun that I had to stop and decorate one as well. It was such fun! Thank you. ~Kelly

thank you thank you!!! so cute!!! I will make one for towel. u have great blog!!! :)

Thank you so much for sharing your cute little elves. I really enjoy looking at all of your creations. You are quite talented.

Aww this is SOOO cute Jenny! I'll be linking.

Thank you, thank you. I love that swingy skirt on the she-elf. It's the perfect touch!

What a lovely design. It almost makes me want to learn how to embroider.
(Also wanted to say a big thank you for putting up the criss-cross coasters tutorial. I've been selling them to other teachers at work for Christmas presents and I've made enough to pay for my son's first term of guitar lessons in 2009. It's really taken the pressure off. (I pay for my boys' music lessons with the things I knit and sew. 4 boys. Lots of music...)
Everyone loves them. Thanks again for sharing.
