love it when a fat envelope arrives from Spoonflower, it means I can add something new to my shop! I seem to have a thing for other countries, this time it is Sweden that inspired me. Yes, it's another Stitch-a-Bit bunting kit, featuring a dala horse and a classic red and blue colorway.
I get such a kick out of collecting props and setting up these photoshoots. The blue painted dala is one I got locally at the Wooden Spoon, and I'm not sure where the little wooden couple came from but they seem to fit right in.
Taking these photos was challenging. We have tons of trees that have leafed out, and these days the light in this house is very green. I'm not totally happy with the color balance in these pics, the light was so much better when I was snapping photos of the Union Jack bunting. But you get the general idea I hope. Here's another shot of the bunting, festooning the bed posts...
