id you hear that whoop earlier this afternoon? It was me, letting out a little of my excitement over this new addition to my kitchen. Yes, it is a long-desired (semi-secretly) red Kitchenaid stand mixer! It's a slightly ahead of schedule birthday present and I couldn't be happier about it! Maybe with this bad boy on my side I can finally make something I unsuccessfully attempted on Monday:
I made it part way through a new recipe and ran into some issues involving the wrong amounts of eggs vs flour. It was a sad, sad sight, and very depressing to be reminded about my pitiful lack of baking skill. But I'm feeling very positive about attempt number Two. Can you guess what it might be? Here's a clue...
