Happy dance! I can finally reveal the secret project I've been sitting on for ages... I published a children's ebook! Not just any ebook, an interactive ebook, that works on iPhone or iPad. And what made it the most fun is I created it myself, interactions and all! It is included free with a new ebook "app" called Interactive Touch Books. So this is definitely my favorite Friday Freebie of all time, because the ITB app is free and my book is free. Its a double freebie... a freefreebie!
My story stars little Miss Bunnyfur in an Easter adventure called Bunnyfur's Easter Eggs.
You get to help decorate her eggs, then go on an Easter egg hunt, moving the eggs into your basket.
The fun starts when the eggs are opened!
My adventure began when I was invited to be one of the first to play with a cool new online tool thingamajig that ITB is working on that let's anyone create interactive ebooks... I was able to upload my own artwork, music and voice recordings (yikes), and create all the silly interactions, add sound effects and so forth. Their ebook-creating web site uses super-new technology, and I was surprised how user-friendly it is. The site isn't available yet but it will be soon, and then I'm pretty sure the offerings in the ITB bookshop will multiply like... well... bunnies! See, it's designed for people like me to create and sell their own ebooks. In fact, I'm already working on two more. This has helped me rediscover how much I adore creating children's books, and I'm truly having a blast.
I really could go on and on about the whole thing, but I can hear you out there tapping your foot and saying "so... how do I get the book, Missy?" Well, like I said, it only works on iPhone or iPad for now (Android will be available in a bit) so click -->here<-- and you'll be whisked to iTunes where you can download the ITB app (for free), and then when you open the app, you'll see my book in the bookstore (for free)!
Please please please... I hope you download it, and that you'll tell every iPhone/iPad-owner you know to download it, too. Thank you!!!
Cheers,
Jenny
