Here comes the bride... to my etsy shop!

Remember this little sweetheart? I created her for a dear friend of mine earlier this year, for her future daughter-in-law's bridal shower. Since that post, I've received so many requests from people wanting to make their own little angel that I decided to offer her on etsy! And she's even personalized, with the happy couple's name and date on the back of her heart-shaped wings.

There is even a matching heart-shaped gift card...

Within a week of your order, I will send you a cutomized pdf. All you need to do is print this on good-quality cover weight paper, cut out and assemble using clear tape and an adhesive applicator. I even set up an online tutorial with tons of pictures to help!

It's easy to imagine these little angels being used in so many ways... not just as a bridal shower gift. She'd make a lovely present for an anniversary, or a Christmas ornament to commemorate the happy occasion. And since it comes to you in the form of a PDF, you can print and make a whole host of angels, to use as decorations or wedding favors!

Chuffy the fluffy stuffie... and friends

ello my lovelies! Things have been chugging along here at the Allsorts Makery. I've got another litter of fluffy scottie pups in the shop, this time though, both front and back are the super-soft white cuddle fleece. It is the squirmiest stuff to work with, but the result is so yummy I just had to muddle through. Each scottie softie comes with their own unique, one of a kind name on a paper speech "bubble". I won't do another loooong post with a photo of each one ...but at least let me tell you their names, because the naming is my favorite part!  So... we have Chuffy, Pippa, Nesbit and Tufty, also Archie, Puppins, Millie, Woofer, Binkie, Smidge, Tyrole, Scraps and Scoot. A perfect baker's dozen!

Anyway, they are so cute when packaged up for shipping. Last time I wrote little notes to buyers on the backs of the name bubbles, but this time I plan to leave them blank, in case they are intended to be a gift. The scotties already come in a pretty cute presentation, all ready to wrap! Woof!

Anyway, I'm itching to get these listed, so off I go!

Shipping day

hanks for the response to the little scotties! All but two one have been "adopted", so it's into the boxes and off to the post office. I am having way too much fun packing up the little guys, so I thought I'd share a pic because they are so cute. In case you're interested, I ordered all these supplies from uline - the boxes, clear bags and blue crinkle paper for packing.

I almost feel like I should poke holes in the box!

ps - speaking of poking holes... looks like there is a beehive inside one of the eaves of our roof, and it sounds like it could extend down inside the wall. The bee expert is coming tomorrow today(!) to check it out. Knowing those bees are in there is really creeping me out!
