Seriously, who doesn't want to keep up to the minute with every post, tweet and status update from yours truly? Um... I totally understand that you might not want to, but just in case you do, let me try to corral everything in one tidy post. Eventually I'll do up some cute graphics for my sidebars, but for now, here are some options.
You can...
Follow me on Twitter - I am tweeting more and more lately, even though I added an approval process after spammer issues. But I will definitely approve you! (unless you are a spammer, then... no)
Friend me on Facebook - if you want to follow my banal day-to-day natterings. (apologies in advance if I don't friend you back, I'm told I need to exercise at least a teeny bit of precaution)
Follow my Allsorts page on Facebook - if you want Allsorts-related scoop delivered via Facebook.
Follow Allsorts with a Feed Reader or News Aggregator. If you are already following Allsorts on a feed reader, you don't need to read this next bit, class is now dismissed.
But, if you aren't, I want to help. Or, if you are currently following Allsorts on Bloglines, you probably know by now that site will go poof on October 1st. Now I don't want to lose touch, so I will explain how to follow Allsorts (or any other blog) on Google Reader. There are others, but it is what I use.
Note: Feedburner - if you are familiar with feedburner you can use it add Allsorts to any feedreader - just click here.
Okay, back to business. Here is a brief tutorial on adding a blog to Google Reader. If you have a Google account, you already have Google Reader. If you don't have a Google account, just click here if you would like to create one. Go ahead, we'll wait.
All set? Great! Once you've signed in to your Google account, go to the main Google search page and look in the upper left corner... click where it says "more".

From the drop-down, find and click on "Reader" to go to your Google Reader page:

Look in the upper left corner of the Google Reader page and click the "Add a Subscription" button:

A field will open, copy and paste the url of the blog you wish to follow into the field:

Click add, and this is what you get!

When a blog is selected from the subscription list, the post content will appear in a frame to the right. You can either read the blog post from Reader, or click on the post title and the blog will open in a new tab. There's lots more to learn about how it works, but I'll leave that to Google Reader to explain. In fact, there are probably much easier ways to add blogs to Reader, but this is how I figured out how to do it.
Hope that is helpful and not totally confusing. It took a little time to get the hang of it, but Reader quickly won me over and now I totally rely on it.
See you out and about on the internets!
Cheers,
Jenny
