Greetings kids, and happy Friendsday yet again. Its a wonder when I remember to make note of the people I know around the Internet that are special, that's what its all about as far as I'm concerned. But I'm not getting to the point, which is often the case. So...
I don't think I've mentioned Katy for Friendsday yet. One of my bestest friends anywhere... I wish she lived closer, I'm sure we would tear up the town! She is a skilled, multi-talented artist and fearless creator. She knows more about how to do anything than anyone I know, and she is almost entirely self-taught! She is a jeweler, printmaker, sculptor, quilter, gardener, painter, photographer, web designer, software engineer, drop dead gorgeous, and hilarious to boot! Look at this darling quilt she whipped up for her cousin's baby!

Next I must mention Kim, living an amazingly creative life out in Washington State. She is a mega-talented designer and illustrator, and brings so many wonderful images and links to her blog. There is always something fascinating to see or learn when I visit there. I hope she continues to have "something to say" for a long time.
Oh, and did I mention she grows the most amazing flowers, and then takes photos of them that make you swoon with how gorgeous they are. Makes me wish I lived up in the Pacific Northwest where you can grow things like peonies and hydrangeas, but I don't think I'd have as much success as Kim. She has a knack!
I have been lax in not mentioning Hillary, but most everyone knows about wee wonderfuls already. She is such a sweetie, and lives in Oak Park, Illinois where I was born! Her blog is a constant source of ideas and inspiration, whether she is showing us her amazing softie creations, or sharing images from vintage childrens books, or giving us a peek at her collection of fabrics, trims and whatnot. Her little boy is adorable, and I love hearing about his adventures! She invented the "wee" pattern, and encourages other stitchers to create their own versions and hosts a gallery of the various "wees" that have been made. So cute! Her softies range widely in style from sweet kitties and bunnies to robots! I love this guy!

So that's it for another Friendsday! I love the internet!
Cheers,
Jenny
