Tada! Here is the felt star that I designed over Thanksgiving and I've been making them ever since. It reminds me of peppermints or candy canes when made in white felt with red stitching. And doing the stitches the quick way rather than blanket stitching, you end up with red angled stripes around the edges that gives it a distinctive peppermint look. Add a button in the middle and it looks postively edible! But please don't test this, I imagine the taste is more like cotton and wool. Here are the results of my recent effort, mixed in with some scotties who appear to be playing Hide and Seek!

I guess you could call this my little thank you gift, because today is the one-year birthday of my blog!!! I want to thank everyone for taking the time to visit and be so kind and supportive. The experience of creating this blog has been a fantastic and rewarding thing. And I especially want to give a BIG HUG to those of you who have been so wonderful with your comments and such.
