Not quite as many as I'd hoped to share, but here at least is one photo from our Hill Country road trip. This is the dock on the river side of County Line BBQ, in the hills above Austin. Those are turtles in the water, they swim up for "turtle chow" pellets. Very much like tossing breadcrumbs to ducks... only with turtles. At night. And no quacking. Its very quiet and ethereal. We wound our way there along the hilly roads, after taking in the panoramic view of Austin from Mt. Bonnell, but I am intrigued by the idea of arriving by boat. Such a nice night... the food was pretty tasty, too!
But... that's the only pic I have to share just yet. Since my last post, the crazy train just kept on chugging right along. My mom had to go back into the hospital after just a few days, and is now in a nursing rehab center, with her health issues continuing to cause problems. I won't bore you with the details, but I've been hopping to keep up with everything. Ro gets back from Singapore tomorrow night and I am really looking forward to grabbing him up in a great big bear hug!
In light of things, I think a brief blogging break is required. At least a planned one... I realize the lengthy gaps between posts technically constitutes several breaks. Thanks for keeping me and my family in your thoughts and prayers, it helps a lot. Back soon...
Smoochies,
Jenny
