Thinking outside the frame

Now this is a really neat idea... framing objects instead of art!

Maybe I'm weird, but I have very few art pieces around my house, I've always been much more interested in the beauty of objects. These frames are a perfect combo of art and function.

Over the pond we go

Hello to my lovely lovely friends in the UK!

Can I hug you? I am crazy in love with your iconic Union Jack. It inspired my latest project, and I'll share photos of it as soon as I can get the sun to cooperate. And my camera... it is not playing nice these days. Some days I love it, others not so much.

Well, I spoke just a smidge too soon

Boy did I jump the gun with my Yay It's Spring Flickr post yesterday. This is what we woke up to this morning. Really cold fluffy white stuff stuck to everything!

This was not supposed to happen! But it was a great opportunity to play around with the new lens I just got for my camera...

And enjoy a yummy French Toast breakfast inside by a cozy fire...

Spring will just have to wait until we finish up with this last bit of Winter!

ps - Ro actually took the photo of the iron gate. But I begged him to walk across the street and shoot it for me because it was too cold out was the art director.
