Thought I'd share one of the clever artists that caught my eye today on Etsy ~ one canoe two, a letterpress shop with the neatest offerings, like a kit for a paper village that you construct one house at a time...
and lovely graphic prints like these poppy red feathers...
even fabric designs printed by Spoonflower. Love this kitchen-y design...
And speaking of Spoonflower, they are experimenting with a new quilt-weight cotton. I got a recent order in of some new designs, apparently printed on the new stuff, and I may like it a bit better. It's softer, finer weave and appears to be a smidge whiter. I haven't sewn with it yet, I'll let you know what I think.
If I can get my act together, I'll be posting some pics of the new designs, but it won't be until Monday at least. Ro and I are going to Fort Worth for the weekend (with Jeff holding down the homestead) to take in some excellent shows at the Modern, the Kimbell, Amon Carter and the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. We're also visiting the Funky Finds event, and seeing Harvey Fierstein in Fiddler!
Well... it's not New York, but I'm very excited! See y'all Monday!
Cheers,
Jenny
