y incredibly generous neighbor called me over yesterday and let me fill a bag with fresh peaches she brought back from her trip to Georgia. She had packed her SUV with six huge boxes and let me choose whatever I liked. They smell absolutely amazing. So today I've been sleuthing the web for ideas. I found some delectable suggestions on myrecipes with drool-worthy photos, like for Grilled Peaches Jezebel (above), or this photogenic Grilled Peach and Mozzarella Salad:
Peach Mojitos... something cool for especially hot summer evenings, maybe?
Crostini with Peaches and Blue Cheese... they hooked me at crostini, then reeled me in with blue cheese. I love the pairing of fruit and cheese.
Or we could have something sweet, like a classic Peach Upside Down Cake.
But then, we could always just slice 'em and eat 'em! Or maybe just look at them...
I seem to be on a food kick, two posts in a row. Maybe I'm making up for lost time, since I haven't posted much on this topic up til now!
