Welcome to the final stop on the Countryside Softies Blog Tour! I've been enjoying the whimsically creative creations of Amy Adams ever since I first started following her blog, LucyKateCrafts. Using recycled fabrics, sweaters or "jumpers" as they call them in the UK, wool and felt, she stitches together the most clever and amzing buttony little creatures. They have so much personality and charm, like the peacock above, and these two slightly perplexed-looking hedgehogs...
And now Amy has a book out, called Countryside Softies, with patterns and details for making your own fibery friends!
There are instructions for twenty-eight adorable softies for either hand or machine sewing, divided into three categories: In the Hedgerow, Amongst the Woodlands, and Along the Riverbank. And of course... there are bunnies!
Best of all, I've got a copy of the book to give away! Simply leave a comment and I will let the random number gizmo do its thing on... let's say Monday afternoonish.
Cheers! Oh, and congrats to William and Kate! I am still in awe!
Jenny
