Now that Spring is in the air, let's have some fun! I've been working on this freebie off and on for weeks now, struggling with the seemingly constant string of distractions that is house remodeling. But the weather has been so wonderful, that I just had to make something fun to share. And this is the result! A sheet of springy little strips you can print and use... not just to make paper chains, I can see them made into bows for pretty packages, or little flags for cupcakes... lots of things!
There are two pdf files, so use the first one to print out the strips, and the other one to print onto the back of the page of strips. Cut the sheet in half at the two little triangles, then snip the strips. I used double stick tape to make my chain, because all my glue sticks had dried up (grumble). You can even print more than one sheet to make longer and longer chains! Hey presto!
I think I will try sharing this printable a little differently. There seem to be ongoing problems with direct download and it seems so impersonal and anonymous. So, just leave a comment on this post (maybe you could share ideas for how these could be used) and I'll pop your files into a warm and fuzzy email! You needn't put your address in the comment, just in the email box.
Note ~ Unfortunately there is no way for me to send the files if you comment while signed into typepad, facebook, etc. (boo). With the regular comment fields, I will have your email (yay). If you aren't given a comment option that looks like the image below, then try signing out before leaving your comment. Otherwise, I have no way of responding. (sad face)
I hope this works out better for everyone, and results in lots of festive festoonery!
Happy Spring, my lovely friends!
