Pinwheels! Also known as Star-Spangled Pinspinners. I shared this freebie printable a couple of years ago, and it is a favorite this time of year. So I thought I'd post about it again, in case you want to make a few for your Independence Day celebration. Click -->here<-- to download (let's just do this the old-fashioned way).
Print on index or cover weight stock and cut around the edges, and the curved lines to the little black dots. Then fold in the 'wings' and use a straight pin to attach it to a pencil eraser, with the little circle on the front. Or you can do like I did, and use a thin nail and wood dowels. That way they are longer and less... pencilly.
The title also refers to me... I've been a little blue lately. I didn't even realize I'd totally skipped blogging in June. It's a combination of things... mostly I feel a bit 'at sea' as they say in Ol' Blighty. Too many new things at once, maybe. New studio, new furniture, new computer, new updated versions of software, hardware. I'm having a tough time getting my flow back, you know? When I get a creative idea, somewhere along the way I can't figure out how to do something, or find something, and after awhile the inspiration gets replaced with frustration and even annoyance (mostly at my ineptitude). But I'm muddling along, managing a bit better every day. Hang in with me, I'll be grooving along before you know it!
So what's new in your world?
Cheers,
Jenny
