New theme for June - red and aqua!

I was teetering on the verge of giving up on the monthly theme idea, given my lack of success in keeping up with them thus far, but I simply had to give it one more go. So let's do something that is near and dear to my creative heart... the color combo of red and aqua! I'm already excited! One major thing that has helped keep me in a happy frame of mind while feeling puny is Pinterest. There is nothing better than a stream of lovely, inspiring, funny, cute and... well... interesting images to buoy ones' state of mind! If you haven't checked it out, you should. I just love it.

One of my "pinboards" is dedicated just to these two colors, and clearly I am not alone in loving them. Just look at this kitchen! It's like my dream kitchen. Alas, it will in fact remain a dream since I could never ever get Ro on board with this level of adorableness. But we are planning to do some remodeling in the kitchen... all over the house actually. And this will mean something huge... my studio will be relocating to one of the upstairs bedrooms! So all my boxes and bins and creative whatnot will have to be shlepped upstairs and reorganized. Daunting, yes, but very exciting! I'll share befores and durings and afters, and lots of inspiration photos that I've been collecting. It should be fun (let's hope).

So, despite the fact I haven't the energy to do a new header or graphic just now, the theme for June is officially Red and Aqua!

And by the way, thank you for all the well-wishes and get-well-soons, I never realized how such a little thing as a sympathetic and encouraging comment could make one feel so much better. Its like a whole mail bag full of sweet get well cards with accompanying hugs! And I'm bouncing back, today Vicky took me out to lunch for a day-before-my-birthday celebration and it was wonderful to be out and about!
